First, the comment shows that McKesson does in fact understand what the term COINTEL, short for counter intelligence means.
A simple google search of the term turns up a simple definition. "Activities designed to prevent or thwart spying, intelligence gathering, and sabotage by an enemy or other foreign entity." Another definition of the term, according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. "Organized activity of an intelligence service designed to block an enemy's sources of information, to deceive the enemy, to prevent sabotage, and to gather political and military information." The term referenced comes from the days of the Civil Rights movement. It was the term used to describe the efforts of the FBI to disrupt, discredit and ultimately end the Civil Rights movement. It was carried out by J Edgar Hoover and used against activists and organizations of the era. Most argue it was done illegally. It was the weapon used most often by the government to suppress the movement and isolate and take out leaders. It was a very effective strategy. In today's terms, the reference has been made by our company, and many others that Black Lives Matter is either a COINTEL element, or has several COINTEL agents within its leadership. Our initial article, Black Lives Matter: COINTEL of the Revolution, is in reference to Mr. McKesson, as well as the Black Lives Matter founders. It makes the claim that all are complicit in infiltrating, suppressing, and disrupting a completely grassroots movement started by Millennials. In this case, mostly black Millennials. By definition, Deray McKesson is 'counterintelligence.' He did not start The Movement. He did not start things in Ferguson. He infiltrated both, and co-opted not only the credit, but the resources needed to sustain both movements. He did not, and is not working with any leadership from either of the original movements. Leaders who started both movements have both documented, and went to the press about his actions. To no avail. This article is not going to highlight the implications of Mr. McKesson's COINTEL efforts, but simply prove why he is COINTEL, and not simply a confused activist. First sign. Deray McKesson was not physically around when both movements started. He was not mobilizing and organizing The Movement and he is not from Ferguson. Both movements have documented beginnings, with witnesses, images and testimony. Neither of the movements are affiliated with Black Lives Matter, the organization that he used for his rise to prominence. Black Lives Matter did not start The Movement and they also did not organize things in Ferguson. There is no possible way that McKesson could have started either movement. In the future we will go into more depth about why this matters, but for now we'll stick to the evidence. More evidence that McKesson is COINTEL is that he works with zero grassroots leaders. To know the plan or strategy of either movement you would have to be in contact with its leadership. We have never had a formal conversation as a company with Mr. McKesson. We did however introduce him to The Movement, as well as Black Lives Matter when they came onto the scene in Ferguson via social media. We introduced McKesson as a media contact representing Ferguson, later to be known as a mistake. McKesson was in fact not a leader in Ferguson according to leaders we later made contact with as the movement evolved. Claims from Ferguson, and those active in The Movement or movement for black lives were made continuously about McKesson and other activists until formal investigations began by activists and some journalist. The initial Black Lives Matter investigation lead to internal mud slinging and ultimately the movement going leaderless. Due to questioning from activists and an internal query by one of the group's organizations, leadership dissolved and they adopted an 'Occupy' type structure. However they did not start this way, there were clear leaders used digitally to funnel traffic from Ferguson and The Movement into their hashtag and brand. Shaun King, Johnetta Elzie as well as McKesson were the most visible activists online. After going leaderless, investigations continued and those leaders, as well as the founders were found to be corrupt. Investigations turned up ties to George Soros, the non-profit industrial complex, as well as the White House. In addition, the founders of Black Lives Matter are not Millennials, which would disqualify them from leading The Movement, aka the Millennial Revolution. Even more recent questioning, specifically about where donations go, and what they are being used for led to McKesson, as well as Elzie and rapper Talib Kweli completely distancing themselves from the brand. The investigations mentioned took place in 2015, by early 2016 it was well known that Deray McKesson was likely an 'agent,' as in someone paid to disrupt and co-opt. Instead of focusing on strategy he was promoting products and services, tweeting selfies, and inserting issues irrelevant to the cause. On TV he was claiming brands he did not create, such as The Movement, to boost his credibility among the public who were still unfamiliar with McKesson, and the movement in general. Politically speaking this would be similar to a Republican claiming to represent Democrats and dictating media narrative. With The Movement being started in media, McKesson was taking valuable credit needed by the company that started it all, Taking Back the Radio, as well as others who relied on exposure. What was initially seen as a possible mistake, or greed issue, turned out to be much worse than thought. The DNC wiki leaks proved what many activist feared, and showed exactly the reason why COINTEL elements have to be kept out of any successful movement. The DNC wikileaks showed that McKesson was actively being vetted as a DNC surrogate. A supposed 'revolutionary,' fighting against the system, was being vetted by the party to be paid to represent them. Not only did Mr. McKesson not state that he was a Democrat who had intentions of funneling the energy back into the party, he funneled resources away from the real revolution, the movement, back into the political party protesters were trying to hold accountable. Knowing the origins, and intent of The Movement, that is 'counter' to what The Movement is all about. A clear case of counter-intelligence. Counter-intelligence that was sustained throughout the entirety of this movement. This article is simply a glimpse into the COINTEL claims made about Mr. McKesson in regards to The Movement. There are other groups in the broader movement who also have personal stories to share. There are other activists who have exhibited similar, or worse behavior, which is why the Black Lives Matter brand opted to go leaderless. In future articles we will go into more depth about why this matters, and what it meant to the overall movement. For now, this is factual evidence that Deray McKesson is in fact COINTEL of The Movement, and the movement against police corruption.
