The Taking Back the Radio Project
Taking Back the Radio™ is the Official media outlet of The Movement™ and was the full service social media platform that was used to start the largest revolution of the past decade. That revolution came to be known as "The Movement." The Millennial revolution of 2014.
The official definition for The Movement is the political, social and economic revolution of our generation. All of us who directly started The Movement were Millennials. We were trying to provide a voice for our generation, resources to those in need, and valuable resources to artists. The name "Taking Back the Radio" came from a conversation between best friends about media being used to manipulate, control and sabotage the masses, specifically through music. The concept grew into a business plan to do something about the problem. We needed to "Take Back" media for the people, which was the inspiration for the name and concept of Taking Back the Radio LLC. Even though it was intended we had no idea that people would actually buy in, and that we would actually start a revolution. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Successfully launching our social media app on April 20th, 2014 after 5 years of building, Taking Back the Radio™ successfully mobilized and organized The Movement™ using social media and our own custom social media platform. We offered news, unique video content, messaging, music related content and free radio. Essential to our concept was providing great, free radio to the masses. Using the traffic and actual movement that we started we helped provide a breakthrough in media with our success to help shed light on many issues affecting our generation, those truly oppressed, minorities, and those in need. Many of the issues we focused on with our revolution are still talked about and relevant in media to this day. Which is why they don't want you to know about our media company. Completely grassroots and self-funded, independent of the media industrial complex, Taking Back the Radio provides an unfiltered glimpse of our country not always shown in the mainstream media. Through our news, media, and social media platform in the past we not only helped inform the country, we helped organize the country. Re-launching our full platform again in the future, as well as other projects related to The Movement™, this is your source for the grassroots. Verified and battle tested. The Movement never stopped, it just went underground...
