State of The Movement Webcast
This is another episode from ‘The Movement.’ Simply titled, “Status of The Movement.” We’re going to provide a few quick updates, briefly go back over some of the things we covered in previous episodes, and let you know where to check for information. Who to help. And how. There’s currently not a ‘Movement’ digitally. Nobody has maintained the presences needed for a “digital movement.” Certain aspects were co-opted but not maintained. Ex. The initial hashtags used to protect protesters and update ‘the movement.’ The Movement is continuing. This is part of our jobs. We’ve removed certain individuals who couldn’t play with others and we will be coming back even stronger with Official Launches. Get in early. Don’t miss the party… BLM was COINTEL. All you need to know there. Actively worked against those in ‘the movement.’ Deray McKesson allegations were true. Pretty much all you need to know there. He did not start The Movement. Did not start things in Ferguson or lead things there. Never worked with the broader movement or any grassroots leaders. Thief. Liar. Con artist. He’s classified as a media liaison. He’s the real life black Peeta (Hunger Games refrerence). What BLM did to obtain status was lie, deceive and mislead. Ultimately what it resulted in was those who had legit claims to start what people view as ‘the movement’ being pitted against the ‘BLM’ protestors. Discussed earlier. With a key component highlighted. The Movement is different in that we still get along. We’re all still “friends.” And we didn’t have to disown each other in public to keep up a good public image. We were friends offline before we had a presence online. We also have actual plans and solutions, with plans and solutions on how to execute them. We didn’t mislead the public about our intentions, didn’t turn on those we were supposed to be helping, and self-funded with no donations to keep this dream going. Why we’re Moving Forward. There’s a clear need for media telling the truth. And there’s a clear need for a Movement that is committed to “the people.” We’ve potentially seen media and police cover up investigations where there were multiple witnesses. We’ve seen our politicians lie, and the media cover it up, to the detriment of the people. We’ve seen our own parties, openly sabotage their base, and candidates, just so a few could maintain control at the top. We feel it’s time for something new. And something that remedies the problems mentioned as well as others. We’re continuing forward because we care. And continue to meet people who care as well. If we don’t look out for our country, then who will? We’re moving forward because we care about people, we care about this country, and we feel we can have success at getting a real movement started. Again. We don’t want to control, we want to empower. We believe that with certain elements out of the movement, collectively as a country we can find a way forward. We just want to wrap this episode up by stating a few groups who we think deserve support, and are doing good work. And how you can help the broader movement, and get started in your own area. We first want to say thank you Ferguson and suggest that people who are fighting the police corruption issue to support those who were there on the ground from Day 1. Hands Up Don’t Shoot for its contribution to media. The few media outlets that printed the truth. The activists, artists, businesses, organizations and individuals who stayed committed to the cause. The best way to help the broader movement is to spread this information. Social media isn’t going to do it for us. Facebook seems friendly possibly because they know more details. We are not doing anything illegal, we’re a media company. Share on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, wherever or however you can. Help those “in” The Movement. Those doing the work. You’ll quickly learn affiliations. And if you ask you’ll find out even quicker 0:-) If you are thinking this is something that “other” people are doing your wrong. Everyone got started at some point on a grassroots level and some people just had ideas and ‘movements’ that caught on more than others. We’re here to support each other and not compete against each other. Which is why we were so extensive in our clarification about certain individuals and why they were removed. For THIS particular project/concept/experiment, their behavior was not acceptable. However, feel free to feel free, just don’t misrepresent yourself or mislead people about what you are doing and you’ll be fine. A major value of this culture is honesty. Keep business private but be honest about your intent and people will support ya. Thanks for tuning in!
